I’ve been advising since 1996, starting at Sun Life of Canada before moving on to Countrywide Assured in 1997 to specialise in mortgages and protection. I arranged my first later life lending product in 1998. I established Best Financial Solutions in 2003: www.bestfs.co.uk. My focus in the last seven years has been on the needs of older borrowers though I still advise on all types of mortgages for all ages to enable me to find the best solution from the full range of options. I am a member of the Equity Release Council.
